Meet our Host

Silvia Pelham is the host of 9Arches and the leader of the Airbnb group of over 700 hosts for the Center of Portugal.                                                                                     Her experience in hosting started in Lisbon, over a decade ago, with a studio flat for one person - The Chocolate House.                                                                                From there she took over a ground floor apartment for seven people with a garden with a lemon tree - The Lemon House.                                                                                                         She then chose to go south to the Algarve and looked after a villa with pool on a private condominium for ten people  - 3 Palms.                                                              And now all her experience has been poured into the old family home in the heart of Portugal and she welcomes fourteen to stay and up to forty to meet.
